Two new candidates for Community Council Board
Two Angwinites Jeff Kresge and Laurie Wheeler - have agreed to serve on the Board of Directors of the Angwin Community Council and appear on the ballot mailed a few days ago.
The ballot contains just their names no information about either - which is not very helpful. The Angwin Reporter has interviewed both and is happy to convey their brief statements. (under their pictures).
Jeff's best qualification probably his experience on governing Boards. Laurie's best qualification is probably her background as a certified public accountant.
Hope this helps.
Laurie Wheeler
"I have lived in Angwin and worked at Pacific Union College for 20 years. Currently, I am Director of Student Finance, helping students to obtain aid to fund their tuition and fees. I was fortunate to grow up in a small, safe, close-knit community. I would consider it a privilege to be involved in keeping Angwin a community that people want to live in and parents want to raise their children in."

Jeff Kresge
"I am a Napa public school teacher, living in Angwin for the past 28 years who believes in contributing to the community. I have served on several Boards the Silverado Chapter of the Red Cross and the Boy Scouts of St. Helena and numerous school district committees. I have served as a Trustee of the Howell Mountain School, and am currently the president."
